Clothes for dinner

It’s lovely when guests change out of their yoga clothes for dinner ~ it creates a wonderful, celebratory atmosphere.

Swimming stuff

The beach is only 10 minutes drive away! Please bring a sarong or turkish towel with you, as Cocoon does not provide beach towels. Alternatively you can buy one in our shop.

Appropriate footwear

Remember this is a farm! There are animals like chickens, dogs and peacocks running around, and these animals poop everywhere! We suggest you bring a pair of shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, to stomp around the property.

Mosquito repellant

Electric adapters

Two round pins, at 230 volts and 50hz frequency. The Portuguese wall plug has two round pins.

Reusable water bottle

Like a Klean Kanteen or Hydro Flask. Do your part and please avoid buying plastic water bottles during your visit to Portugal.

Digestive enzymes & probiotics

Many people, including experienced travelers, notice that after a long flight and the excitement ahead, it takes a few days for their body processes to return to normal. Digestive enzymes + probiotics can help keep you normal… constipated yoga is no fun.

We highly recommend to group together and rent cars for the week. Renting a car in Portugal is easy and inexpensive, and you will be able to freely explore the surroundings.

Even if you are fit & healthy, we highly recommend travelling with health + travel insurance - accidents do happen. If you're uninsured, emergency evacuation is expensive. Find out from your health provider in advance if your plan will make payments directly to providers or reimburse you later for overseas health expenditures.

To apply for a Mareaa experience a non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your space. The remaining amount is paid a week prior to arrival.

Private and shared rooms availability are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please book your reservations early to receive your preferred accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse bookings at our discretion.

The following is our cancellation policy: There is no refund for arriving late or leaving an adventure early.

The reservation is definite and binding from the moment of booking. In the event of cancellation, no refund will be made. The participant has the possibility to name a substitute participant. This must be done at the same time as the cancellation. A handling fee of €100 will be charged as well as any rebooking costs. It is the participant's responsibility to take out travel cancellation insurance and international health insurance.

No Exceptions to Cancellation Policy: There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy, including but not limited to COVID-19, weather, personal emergencies, flight cancellations, or delays. We highly recommend purchasing Travel Protection Insurance.
